TQFP-44

Package: TQFP-44_10x10mm_P0.8mm Library: Package_QFP Category: Microcontroller / IC Pads: 44 Pitch: 0.8mm Body Size: 10.0 x 10.0mm Mounting: Surface Mount

Description

The TQFP-44 is a 44-pin thin quad flat package with 0.8mm pitch and a 10 x 10mm body. The wider 0.8mm pitch (vs 0.5mm on LQFP variants) makes it significantly easier to hand-solder and rework. Standard package for the ATmega32/ATmega644 AVR microcontrollers, PIC18 series, and various sensor interface ICs. Also used for USB controllers, CAN transceivers, and audio codecs. A practical choice when pin count exceeds 32 but the design needs to remain hobbyist-friendly for soldering.

Usage Notes

  • Designed for reflow soldering (paste stencil recommended)
  • Pad size optimized for 0.8mm pitch components
  • Follow IPC-7351 land pattern guidelines
