SOT-363 (SC-70-6)

Package: SOT-363_SC-70-6 Library: Package_TO_SOT_SMD Category: IC Package Pads: 6 Pitch: 0.65mm Body Size: 2.0 x 1.25mm Mounting: Surface Mount

Description

The SOT-363 (also known as SC-70-6) is one of the smallest standard 6-pin IC packages. At just 2.0 x 1.25mm with 0.65mm pitch, it is roughly 40% smaller than the SOT-23-6. Houses dual MOSFETs (Si1902DL), dual transistor pairs, analog switches (TS5A3159), voltage level translators, and single-gate logic ICs. Its ultra-compact size makes it the choice for wearables, hearing aids, IoT sensors, and medical devices where every square millimeter of board space matters. Requires precision pick-and-place and reflow soldering.

Usage Notes

  • Designed for reflow soldering (paste stencil recommended)
  • Pad size optimized for 0.65mm pitch components
  • Follow IPC-7351 land pattern guidelines

What are Sub-Skills?

Sub-skills are community-contributed AI skill extensions for this component. They teach AI assistants about specific tools, configurators, or workflows.

Examples:

  • A manufacturer’s configuration tool for a motor controller
  • A community-written design guide for an amplifier circuit
  • An automated test/validation script for a sensor module
