QFN-56-1EP (RP2040 / RP2350)
Package: QFN-56-1EP_7x7mm_P0.4mm_EP3.2x3.2mm Library: Package_DFN_QFN Category: Microcontroller Pads: 57 Pitch: 0.4mm Body Size: 7.0 x 7.0mm Mounting: Surface Mount
Description
The QFN-56-1EP is a high-density 56-pin Quad Flat No-lead package with 0.4mm pitch and a 7 x 7mm body. This is the package for the Raspberry Pi RP2040 — the dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller that powers the Raspberry Pi Pico and hundreds of third-party boards. The RP2350 (dual Cortex-M33 / RISC-V) uses a nearly identical QFN footprint at the same 7x7mm body size. The 3.2 x 3.2mm exposed thermal pad provides excellent heat dissipation. At 0.4mm pitch, this package requires reflow soldering with a precision stencil.
Usage Notes
- Designed for reflow soldering (paste stencil recommended)
- Pad size optimized for 0.4mm pitch components
- Follow IPC-7351 land pattern guidelines
