Pin Header 1x04

Package: PinHeader_1x04_P2.54mm_Vertical Library: Connector_PinHeader_2.54mm Category: Connector Pads: 4 Pitch: 2.54mm Body Size: 2.54 x 10.16mm Mounting: Through-Hole

Description

The 1x04 pin header at 2.54mm (100 mil) pitch is a fundamental building block of electronics prototyping and production. Four pins is the magic number for I2C (VCC, GND, SDA, SCL), SPI (CLK, MOSI, MISO, CS), UART (VCC, GND, TX, RX), and many sensor breakout boards. Compatible with standard Dupont jumper wires, breadboards, and ribbon cables. Through-hole vertical mounting provides excellent mechanical strength. Found on virtually every Arduino shield, Raspberry Pi HAT, and embedded development board.

Usage Notes

  • Standard through-hole mounting with wave or hand soldering
  • Drill sizes follow IPC-2222 specifications
  • Compatible with standard 2.54mm breadboard pitch
