LQFP-64

Package: LQFP-64_10x10mm_P0.5mm Library: Package_QFP Category: Microcontroller / IC Pads: 64 Pitch: 0.5mm Body Size: 10.0 x 10.0mm Mounting: Surface Mount

Description

The LQFP-64 is a 64-pin quad flat package with 0.5mm pitch and a 10 x 10mm body. This is the standard package for mid-range ARM microcontrollers including the STM32F4 series (STM32F401, STM32F411), STM32L4, PIC32MZ, and many DSP and motor control ICs. With 16 more pins than the LQFP-48, it provides additional GPIO, ADC channels, and communication peripherals. The larger body simplifies thermal management. Pins on all four sides with 0.5mm pitch require reflow soldering but remain inspectable under magnification.

Usage Notes

  • Designed for reflow soldering (paste stencil recommended)
  • Pad size optimized for 0.5mm pitch components
  • Follow IPC-7351 land pattern guidelines
