## Description

The 5mm (T-1 3/4) through-hole LED is the most recognizable electronic component ever made. With its distinctive round epoxy lens and two wire leads, it has been the standard indicator light since the 1970s. Available in every visible color plus infrared and ultraviolet, it is the first component many people solder.
