D_SOD-323

Package: D_SOD-323 Library: Diode_SMD Category: Diode Pads: 2 Pitch: N/A Body Size: 1.7 x 1.25mm Mounting: Surface Mount

Description

The SOD-323 is a compact surface-mount diode package at just 1.7 x 1.25mm — roughly half the size of the SOD-123. It is the standard package for small signal diodes (BAV99), ESD protection diodes (PESD1CAN), low-capacitance TVS diodes, and small Schottky rectifiers (BAT54) used in high-speed signal paths. The tiny footprint makes it ideal for placing ESD protection close to connector pins and for high-density digital designs where many protection diodes are needed.

Usage Notes

  • Designed for reflow soldering (paste stencil recommended)
  • Pad size optimized for standard components
  • Follow IPC-7351 land pattern guidelines

What are Sub-Skills?

Sub-skills are community-contributed AI skill extensions for this component. They teach AI assistants about specific tools, configurators, or workflows.

Examples:

  • A manufacturer’s configuration tool for a motor controller
  • A community-written design guide for an amplifier circuit
  • An automated test/validation script for a sensor module
