Description
The 6.3 x 5.4mm SMD aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a common bulk decoupling footprint for power supply filtering. Available in values from 10µF to 470µF at voltage ratings up to 50V, these polarized capacitors provide the large capacitance needed for input/output filtering on voltage regulators, motor drivers, and audio amplifiers. The SMD form factor eliminates hand-soldering of through-hole electrolytics, enabling fully automated assembly. The polarized pad layout with clear cathode marking prevents reverse installation.
