Description

The TO-252 (DPAK) is the surface-mount evolution of the TO-220 power package. With a large drain tab for heatsinking and two signal leads, it handles up to 2W without external heatsinking. At 6.5 x 6.1mm, it houses power MOSFETs (IRFZ44NS), voltage regulators (78M05), and Schottky diodes. The 3D model shows the distinctive large thermal tab and formed leads.

This 3D model is from the official KiCad Package_TO_SOT_SMD.3dshapes library. The model is available in STEP format and can be used in any 3D CAD tool.
