Description

The TO-220 is the iconic through-hole power semiconductor package with a metal tab for heatsinking. With three leads and a mounting hole, it handles up to 125W (with heatsink). Home to the 7805/7812 regulator family, IRF540 MOSFET, TIP120 darlington, and hundreds of power devices. The 3D model shows the plastic body, metal tab, and formed leads.

This 3D model is from the official KiCad Package_TO_SOT_THT.3dshapes library. The model is available in STEP format and can be used in any 3D CAD tool.
