Description

The DIP-8 (Dual Inline Package, 8-pin) is the classic through-hole IC package that defined early digital electronics. With 2.54mm pin pitch and 7.62mm row spacing, it fits directly into breadboards and standard IC sockets. Houses NE555 timers, LM741 op-amps, ATtiny85 microcontrollers, and countless other ICs. The 3D model shows the molded body with pin-1 notch and straight leads.

This 3D model is from the official KiCad Package_DIP.3dshapes library. The model is available in STEP format and can be used in any 3D CAD tool.
